The second chapter in the story of Petermann Bédat is a monopusher split-seconds chronograph with a jumping minute counter.
Built around 339 components, it bridges classical watchmaking and contemporary spirit, offering mechanical depth in a restrained expression.

To the basic column chronograph, a split-second function was added, allowing two intervals of time that begin simultaneously to be measured in parallel, a challenge both in design and adjustment.

An additional safety mechanism effectively prevents an unintentional reset of the split second function. The starting point for this timepiece was the pocket watch.Within the tighter proportions of a wristwatch, the watchmakers succeeded in preserving both rich finishing and breathing space between bridges and functions.

The case is crafted in platinum.

It has been entirely redesigned
with individually soldered, stepped lugs.
